Ramesh Shettigar

Ramesh Shettigar is Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Treasurer, heading up Glatfelter’s global Treasury and IR functions since joining the company in July 2014. In this role, he is responsible for cash management, capital planning, credit and collections, pensions, insurance, foreign exchange, commodities risk management, as well as capital markets financing activities. This includes the management of key relationships with Glatfelter’s banks and rating agencies. Ramesh chairs the Investment Committee which oversees the company’s retirement plans. He is actively involved in the company’s investor relations function (buy-side and sell-side communication) including the quarterly earnings reporting process. He also supports Glatfelter’s corporate development activities and strategic initiatives.

Ramesh’s background spans over 20 years of progressive corporate finance, treasury and FP&A experience. Prior to joining Glatfelter, he held the role of Director, Treasury at Quest Diagnostics Inc. where he was responsible for overseeing a broad range of corporate finance activities including cash management, global liquidity, FX, debt/equity financing and capital planning. During his time at Quest, he also served as Director, FP&A for its Hospital operations business unit. Ramesh was previously employed by Praxair Inc. as Senior Manager of Foreign Exchange, Corporate Finance & Capital Markets. He has additionally held positions with Delphi Corporation and McDermott International in finance and treasury earlier in his career.

Ramesh earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, he earned a Master of Business Administration from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis along with a Master of Information Management from the School of Engineering & Applied Science. Ramesh is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and holder of the Investor Relations Charter (IRC) certification.
